Convert old ribbon or thread spools, furniture legs, or spindles, into timeless ornaments. They are full of character and charm.

I love wooden ornaments. Every year I add a few more to our tree. They add this earthy warmth that works so well with greenery.

I have plans for my jute wrapping twine (stay tuned) that came on the prettiest spools; too pretty to throw out. So, I decided I would repurpose them into ornaments. Old school, timeless, wooden ornaments.

I absolutely love them. And now I have my eye on every spindle in the hardware store, brainstorming how many ornaments I could get out of one!
