DIY COASTER STOCKING HOLDERS

Elevate your mantel with these stocking holders. Made out of marble drink coasters and some flat aluminum.

For the past few Christmases, we have used Command strips to hang our stockings. They are low-profile and so easy to hide in the garland. But this year I wanted to spruce things up.

I saw some stocking holders I loved from McGee&Co. That sparked the idea that I could make them with a marble coaster and some flat aluminum.

Marble is a material and texture I love but have very little of in our house. This was the perfect way to pull it in and balance the wood and greenery textures already on the mantel.
