Family founded and owned, Willow Root Collective (WRC) combines experience in the construction renovation industry with a young creative passion. Established in 2020, WRC bought its first fixer upper. Fast forward six months and this beautifully remodelled home sold in a few days. Our experiences have inspired us to broaden our creativity and services to (eventually) be multi-faceted. The ideas are plentiful + the list is long. We are a design-centric firm that is on a mission to turn everything we touch into something beautiful and cherished.

Founder + Creative Director
A creative from a young age, Emma-Lee’s passions have grown into a love for all things design and DIY since purchasing her home in 2019. Formally educated in economics, she left her day job in 2020 to pursue what she loves – and Willow Root Collective was born. Her design style is best described as modern transitional meets a cozy cottage. She loves to mix styles to get a warm, layered, lived-in look. She is excited to inject her style into everything she gets the honour of creating.
WHAT IS A REMODEL?
A remodel is a full renovation. This is most desirable when the space layout isn’t working for you or the permanent features are very dated. Perhaps you need to move, add, or fix plumbing or electrical. Or you just want to start fresh. A remodel typically involves going back to the substrate at minimum, or even the stud framing.
WHAT IS A REFRESH?
A refresh is a cosmetic update. This is typically a good option when a space is functional but not your style. Maybe your light fixtures or hardware are dated. Perhaps you need help choosing furniture to optimize your existing floor plan. Or your space needs a fresh coat of paint and some new decor. A refresh is much less involved, while still creating a big impact.
